I know you said you did not get a print out of your full pass, which is fine, every one I know that runs 12.2 in the 1/4 runs a 7.8 in the 1/8 maybe a 7.78-7.79 depending. Your fastest 1/8 on the EVIC is 7.4, the EVIC does not stop counting till you hit an 1/8 mile so even if you didn't go to a full 1/8 it would keep counting till you did resulting in a slower time if you let off, that puts your 1/4 in the 11.7 range. This is why I question how accurate things are here. I have heard the tunes on the wk2 are more dialed in from the factory so yeah I'd say you ran a solid 12.2 no question, if you got a print out of your track time I'd bet tht the 1/8 mile time would be a 7.8 not the 7.4 on the EVIC like we see. So knowing that bit of info I'd say the EVIC is off on the 0-60 also. Unless your jeep just falls on its face the last 1/8 mile which I doubt is happening. Not grasping at straws just trying get things a little more reasonable, Just sayin....
John i just pulled up some times on the racing calulator and heres what they are. 3.5 0/60. = 7.60 1/8 = 11.94 1/4 and in -DA weather who knows what the 14 with a canned tune are going to turn out. The best thing is wait till they get some +1500/2500 DA then see what they lay down. Im not a believer in the factory freak car. I no Scott will get some flack on his great times and i agree get some track 1/8 or 1/4 mile times in some good +DA as thats where its at IMO. Theres only 1 other guy in canada in -2000 DA that has come with in .2 of Scotts times in the 1/8 & 1/4 and i think his 0/60 was 3.9. We all have to remember the times you run are controled by how good the air is and we on the west coast dont get that lol. I would say that the evic COULD be off a tad accross the board as most probably are.

Re: 2014 Jeep SRT Diablo Trinity...first impressions!

I'm dying to have someone set up a no question 0-60 test. Sure the 1/4 mile is more important, but for dicking around on the streets of Mexico stoplight to stoplight 0-60 is far more relevant. Maybe at an airport event or even a test and tune someone can get a hold of the proper equipment and do a 0-60 test.

I know it's a sensitive subject and a lot of people get frustrated, but they shouldn't be. We all obviously love the Jeep. Hell, I question my own PB of 4.1 so I'm not a hypocrite. I own a 2014 so I am not a "hater" (a word I myself would never use).

On the tuning front I'm going to wait now. Not willing to risk losing my warranty.

You can run some decent times bone stock like im doing or modded with a stock tune. We only have 1/8 mile in SO CA so to get 1/4 mile we have to convert our 1/8 to 1/4 and beieve me its right on as 1 of our group went a few miles to run the 1/4 and his 1/8 converted to 1/4 was what he ran at the track. Just make sure if the temps are hi like in summer run some unleaded race gas (100,vp109,sunoco 104) to keep the pcm from pulling timing. Run at least a 50/50 mix or higher.
