HOLY MOLY! I have progressive and did the "snapshot" thing, had to have that dumb device in my car for like 6 months, at which point I drove like a grandma, and ended up getting the max 30% off, then combined my homeowners policy with that and it went down even more. I have a clean driving record though and am 34, so maybe that came into play as well, I also have a 1k deductable, but I figure in the off chance something happens I don't mind to ante up the 1k. I think that CBR comes into play for you there! Maybe some other insurance companies do it different, but when I switched from my S4 to the SRT my insurance went down slightly, progressive didn't seem to have a rate for the "SRT" so in their eyes I could be driving a V6 model, I think that made a difference as well. Either way I'd definitely do some shopping around there if you're paying that much!

Lol.. That's actually cheap for my area.. I shopped around n that was the best I have.. Should go down next year when the 4 points they gave me for falling off my bike 4 summers ago n them having to fix it comes off.. Lol.. I got points for having an accident by myself.. Smh I still don't understand that..

To argue to the contrary... what could a hacker do that it doesn't already do all by itself?

Maybe the hacker could fix UConnect?

With all due respect to the black hat crowd... one must query how exactly a jeep owner would know their UConnect had been hacked?

Maybe if it started working reliably all of a sudden, with all menus and options clearly spelled out and remain in place across a simple restart, or use of the remote?

.... just askin'
