I don't see how the problem could only be with white SRT's? They are all painted in the same facility...using the same paint and clears...process.

Yeah it's a weird sounding issue. Maybe a combination of products that the dealer or detailer is using?

Re: 2014 white srt owners please read

I think if you are going to shine your tyres, you really need to scrub the hell out of them first to remove all road grime before applying anything, it's a combination of both product and existing dirt/grime doing the damage. I initially used meguiars high gloss shine tire gel and it left brown stains, never again. I now use good ole armour all, never had a problem since. Hopefully some uv rays will eventually get rid of the stain, it is strange this is only being reported on white but I'm guessing it's the most obvious colour you would notice the problem on.

My 14 overland (not srt) has the painted flares and is white color...I have the stains after a dealer visit. They are removing the flares and side moulding to re paint them. It is a paint issue of Chrysler, nothing should ever stain paint if the paint is proper...

I also have this problem, have never put on tire shine but the dealer did when i took delivery and also after i made them replace my bumper due to some dings on it when delivered. This must be from their tire shine and I am not sure how to get it off as nothing i've tried will work. Mine is Billet silver FWIW.

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Always works on everything I've used it for.

Looks like we have a Billet Silver above having the same issue...

magic eraser WILL scratch the paint. I would look for a pro detailer who can wetsand the stain out and buff the affected area.

Re: 2014 white srt owners please read

Magic Eraser WILL NOT scratch paint! Its soft and smooth, don't apply to much pressure, it worked for me .
I detailed a womens Grand Marquis that had soot and sap on the top surfaces. Regular car wash soap or Dawn would not take it off but the Magic Eraser did and left no scratches. Here's some pics..............

Re: 2014 white srt owners please read

well I misspoke when saying "scratch" What I meant was it will mar and hologram the paint. I used a magic eraser with some soap to clean my borlas exhaust tips before paint and the powedercoat was definitely marred, hologrammed with rub marks on it. I had to wetsand and polish the paint out.
