Hopefully some uv rays will eventually get rid of the stain, it is strange this is only being reported on white but I'm guessing it's the most obvious colour you would notice the problem on.

It happened to two brand new white ones I bought with no miles on them. Road grime played no factor in my issues. First one had it right off the showroom floor from dealers tire shine, I had them replace it a week later. My second one (current one I own) didn't have tire shine from dealership bc I told them not to. And I took it to get it detailed and next day had all the spots, I asked what the car wash was using at it was solvent based tire shine so I went to a new detailing company and told them what happened and they knew the issue once I talked to their chemical specialist . I have been using water based tire shine since and have had zero issues and my spots went away after a few months of the sun. My detailing company has gone through this issue with old model ford explorers with white paint and ever since they are required to only purchase water based tire shine. Make sure to ask before getting your washes if you don't wash your truck your self.

So Im pretty fkn pissed off about this. Its happening all over my 2014 white GC. Its all down the running boards on the sides of the Jeep as well as spots showing on the rear tailgate. They look like small rust spots. What do I do? Will the dealer be able to help? If it is solvent based tire cleaners im not sure why its all over my ride... This is clearly a manufacturer defect that needs to be addressed. I should be able to use any tire cleaner out there without damaging my paint on a $70K ride.

The tire shine staining is one thing that i have gotten past by using differnt products.

I am concerned about the small rust spots that I am seeing as well on the tailgate area. I will ask the dealer about it next oil change. If you ever notice the rear window gets dirty with like a soot with metallic flakes in it. I think it is coming from the exhaust. This has to be the reason for the rust spots as well. Regardless it should be taken care of.

Keep us posted on what the dealer says...

Have you clayed the vehicle? I notice a high level of "contamination" on the rear due to the exhaust and with a good clay treatment on a regular basis this should not be an issue. You may also try a product called ironx which dissolves these particles but need to be used according to the directions and may want to try in a small spot first as I have a black vehicle.

I have this issue too. I have tried clay, polish, etc. Spots still there, especially on the little flat lip below the rear glass. I do detailing and have not found a product that removes it very well.

Oh, and as for the tire dressing, I've only used Griot's products and have had no issues. And the dealer has never, ever, washed/detailed my car. Ever. Nor will it ever go to a car wash place.
