$4000 for that....

L...O...L

Spare yourself that crap and use most of that as a hefty amount towards a RIPP SC kit

P.S. Did they get Scott and others permission to rip off their exterior mod designs and sell them for a crazy profit as a package? (<--rhetorical question)

YES

LOL...its the "bloodied" package.

Everyone please look through my twitter where Ralph Gilles called my truck the "lava edition" about a year ago. Then I heard a rumor they were doing a "lava" edition. Giuess they changed it to red vapor
Awesome

I think it sounds pretty cool -- I love special editions

nothing special about it, anyone willing to pay $4000 for standard items painted/covered differently can have it.

I love the idea of this package. Not the body mods as those are easy to do yourself, but the interior mods. Alcantara headliner should be standard which will save on cost, two-tone options should be available without some special package, etc. Unfortunately FIAT is going to keep pushing upwards and see how much they can get people to pay.

Next generation, I personally feel that anything over $79k and every available option including the 6.2SC and the Jeep will be priced out. Now some of you will say that everyone claimed that when the 2012 debuted but in reality it was priced out. The 12 did not sell well and many were heavily discounted. It's the '14 that sold well. I said it when the WK2 SRT was first revealed, and as the other guy mentioned it wasn't until the '14 was revealed that I saw the SRT being worth the money. The 12-13 for me was a $55k Jeep, loaded. Not a penny more. We'll have to wait and see but if the pattern continues I think the crack smoking FIAT clowns will be offering us an $85k-90k Jeep. Then we will be in a Viper situation, and I'll sit by and wait for the 20% discounts.

Thanks for the info, I guess I should go ahead and order my SRT tomorrow. Not much change, and I will NOT be getting the red 4k package...

5 hp, not worth waiting for, oh well... Not even a new color?? Oh well...

I was secretly hoping for a hellcat package, maybe they'll bu that in the Wagoneer :)

Watch them put the same black chrome that goes on the spyder monkeys, on the standard "Dodge Ram" Goliath wheels, and call them the special Red Vapor wheels.

We already know that's not coming this generation. Possibly WK3

I agree and count myself amongst the lucky ones with this as standard. I never got the reasoning behind it... even with the WK1 SRT8, export models were getting power folding mirrors and "hidden" antenna while guys buying in the US were busy replacing their good'ole telescopic whips with aftermarket "billet shorty" antennas...

Anyway, to cheer you up, remember that you get connectivity and downloadable apps (the only 2 "apps" outside of the US are SRT Performance Pages and Settings... which is not an app...), and of course remote start.

You must not live in a very dense urban area. USA doesn't have many. Ever been to Manhattan?

Even suburban areas near NYC have very narrow streets, where the lanes are so tight the tolerance for human error is very low, being slightly off-center in the lane with a car parked even a few inches too far from the curb, and those mirrors are coming off.

Some parking lots here are so stingy with their spaces, and parking garages have these narrow alleys, entrances, and "hallways".
Power folding mirror was a good option.
Most Americans won't miss it much, but they made a mistake not including it just for the sake of luxury. It looks and gives a more premium feeling. Gives people an impression.

Are you sure this Red Vapor is no longer coming? Or are we still at late availability? If sales start in September, shouldn't we at least see a picture now to see if we want to wait for it or just get the 2015 right away?

I was annoyed when I ordered my SRT back in 09 and it didnt have it but I'm ok with it and folding in the mirror manually isnt a big deal.

And if in my parking garage, they scratch my mirrors, they will be paying.

And hey man you know just as well as I, idiot valets would scratch the mirror anyway if it was folded.

By the way, I just joined jeepgarage because I factory ordered the 2015 jeep grand Cherokee srt. Whoohoo, finally! Except...

Back to the topic, after I ordered my 2015 max steel jgc srt with the black chrome and Laguna seats, I find out a week later they are going to offer a red vapor package! When I read this yesterday, I almost felt like canceling the order, and I still might. I need it for this winter, but if "late availability" means before this coming winter, I'd rather wait. It's not the late availability that's killing me tho, but the fact that there are no pictures.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels they really need to see some exterior and interior photos of this Red Vapor package that costs 4 grand before they order their new 2015 JGC SRT!
How tasteful it looks overall, how they applied those listed changes, especially the black laguna leather with the red "ultrasuede" and the "5 spoke black chrome" wheels, we have to see it now!

When will they reveal it so I can buy this thing already?!
