You shouldn't have any issues ordering the correct part numbers through your local Fiat/Chrysler dealer or whichever dealer you had it imported through. Prepare yourself to pay high prices. There are several guys on the forums here that have friends/family that buy them parts in the U.S. and ship them over to save costs. The other obvious (and probably less expensive) option is to remove the grill rings when you get yours and paint them and reinstall them. The SRT badge is a bit more tricky to reinstall. Congrats on the purchase! You're going to love it!

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT- features and changes

Is Jeep publishing a brochure exclusive for SRT for MY2015? The two page insert in MY2025 brochure for all Grand Cherokees isn't cutting it.

Also, what is up with the SRT merchandise all for Dodge and not Jeep.

Loyal Jeep owner here. Fifth Grand Cherokee owner (1laredo, 3Summits,1SRTCURRENT)

Thank you

I doubt they will publish a new one for 2014 since they did a nice one in 2014 and very little has changed. Their general GC brochure is for the masses as the SRT is a niche market and doesn't require too much marketing as those of us that own them know about them and don't need fancy literature to persuade us to buy one. Would be nice to have a 2015 brochure if this is truly the last year for the "Grand Cherokee SRT" before they change its name to something ridiculous like "TrackHawk"

To be honest the best place I found to buy SRT merchandise was at the Track Experience but yes, I share your sentiment regarding lack of options available for those of us that don't shell out for a Viper.

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT- features and changes

Heya,

Just a quick question about features of an SRT.

I'm tying to understand what exactly "GCBS Front Door Tinted Glass" means. This is from the build sheet of the SRT I put a deposit down for. Does this mean the front windows of the driver/passenger doors are already tinted as dark as the rear three quarter windows?

Thanks.

I can confirm that the front windows WILL NOT be tinted as dark as the rear from the factory as that is a law in most states. I just looked at my front windows and they are marked as "Min 70% Transp" which is mimimum 70% transparency. The rear windows do not have a transparency marking and are tinted darker than the front two and the windshield. Unfortunately I can't decipher the build code but factory build codes are rarely abbreviations.

Cool thanks for that I was just checking out of hope. Most photos completely confirm what you were saying.

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT- features and changes

Hey Guys

First post - sorry if this has been covered (I've done a search but found donuts). Does anyone have any info on what build date onwards would constitute an MY2015 SRT? I've just purchased an SRT with a build date stamp of 22 September 2014 (i don't take delivery for a few weeks). I've been told it's an MY2014 but based on the dates posted at the beginning of this thread, that seems off. Any ideas?

If it was built in Sept. 2014 it would have to be a 2015 model. The 10th digit of the VIN would be an "F".

Thanks so much for that. 10th digit is indeed an 'F'.
