Re: 2015 Jeep SRT

Yeah,....I thought there was a clunk in the transmission. Like some have added, it's not all Jeep SRT's that have it. Hopefully I will luck out!
Thanks for your replies everyone!

Re: 2015 Jeep SRT

I still get a random clunk when travelling in bumper to bumper traffic. Updates have made it a lot better.

Did you drive the '15 that was there? They are incredible machines. The transmission is a huge plus, not something to be concerned about. My '15 is flawless.

I did not drive it as it wasn't my color or interior color choice, Black with Sepia interior. Not all have the clunk. And yes, they are awesome machines. You know it's a SRT when you see it.

LOL
Yeah,....I hear that. I really want one, so I'm going to take a chance. Won't be ordering till next year though, so it'll be a 2016 model. Probably in late March/early April.

Re: 2015 Jeep SRT

So, on the way to mass this morning, I saw the same exact Jeep SRT as I did a couple of weeks ago. He must live on that street, no too far from my house. Would love to pick his brain and his thoughts about the SRT.
Second time seeing it and I am in love. What a beautiful machine!
I think it's a "sign".

Re: 2015 Jeep SRT

maybe it's because I'm in the North East, and most people here are driving Subaru's and Camry's, but I seem to get surprising few people who have any idea what my Jeep is. I think 99% of people just think its a plain old Jeep Cherokee.

Of course, once in a while I'll be at a gas station and someone will come up to me and know exactly what it is...but honestly - that's very rare - maybe once every 2 or 3 months. No issue with the tranny for me - LOVE the 8 speed. It's almost made me not care that it isn't a manual.... almost.

Funny you say that. I saw the very same white 2015 Jeep again this weekend. Pulling out of the same street not far from where I live. You don't live near the Walpole/Foxboro area, do you?
Earlier this year, I saw a guy pull into the gas station with a nice looking clean WK1 Jeep SRT. Of course I had to go over and talk to him about it.

Re: 2015 Jeep SRT

No 8 speed tranny issues on my 14...12k miles and two updates and the thing is a beast...couldn't be happier!! Hope you get that 16 soon

And outside of my dad's club coupe, I get more looks, attention and comments in the SRT than any other vehicle I've driven (Rovers, Porsche, AMG, Astons...) it is quite entertaining
