This is exactly right. Wish the Eco button off actually turned the mds off completely in every mode. I'd turn it off then remove the switch and banish it forever.

Re: 2016 Jeep SRT new features....updated as we learn

Well, the title of the thread is '2016 SRT New Features' and just perhaps SRT's are a bit different from other Grand Cherokees...but just a teeny, tiny bit though.

Anyway, I can tell you with utmost certainty that MDS does not kick in when you have the shifter in Sport Transmission Mode as in pulling the shifter back so the 'D' turns into an 'S'. I drive in 'S' mode about 90% of the time mainly because my company pays the fuel bill and because it's obvious when MDS kicks in in 'D' Transmission mode as in painfully obvious and annoying and 'S' mode brings the Jeep back to something drive-able.

Plus, I read the instructions and scoured the internet for information about the different Transmission modes and suspension modes before typing this reply.

No, it wont.

I have an SRT, you don't. Don't sit behind your keyboard telling me something you cant possibly know, because you don't have an SRT, you don't even have the 6.4lt.

MDS does not and will not activate in any mode other than "auto". End of story.

Now, either go and buy an SRT of your own, or at least drive one before telling me that im right.

Awesome. Thank you.
So, we really don't know much about it other than what has been posted on the first page I assume?
I did see that production starts in November and a possible new brake package. It would be killer if a HP and TQ increase was true too.

I saw this the other day thinking how they can make the brakes even better and more performance other than adding slotted or ventilated discs. The stock brakes are pretty darn good as is.
