The shifter! I wonder how it feels. I'm not a huge fan of the standard issue one in the 15.

Re: 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show

That new 16 shifter is atrocious IMO. After having the 15 now for almost 1 year, I love that look and feel. The 14-15 shifter is unique. That new one looks as if it's a dated model.

That exterior colour is a beaut though.

Re: 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show

I would say that a substantial shifter is the thing I've been missing from my old car. Something that has a positive feel so you know you're engaging something. This looks the part to me.

That's the good thing about opinions on aesthetics, we can all be right.

Re: 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show

OK, so apart from the leather/alloy parts having swapped position, does anyone else think the new shifter looks like the one from the FPV Falcon GT (Aussie car) from 2011?

Re: 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show

the shifer is a bit blah BUT the leather boot is pretty cool. Best part is the manual up/down shift. Now for the up/down shift im willing to upgrade my 15 shifter to the 16 and think about a different nob. i hate paddle shifters BUT love being able to shift the gears using the shiftier. should be a doable upgrade.
