Re: 2017 SRT interior photos

These are great. I would definitely go with Sepia or the Ruby Red and glad to see we have options. Not too long ago, many people complained about American cars only offering gray interiors so i wouldn't complain about any color options they have now.

Re: 2017 SRT interior photos

Do the 17s say jeep on the steering wheel instead of SRT? If so, does anyone know why?

Re: 2017 SRT interior photos

Ui love the white exterior with sepia. Granted I'm bias but I searched around a good while for that combo. Everyone finds the vechile looks very classy with this combo. Until you cold start her that is . Red looks ok I like the design in the seats with the lines. But I still prefer the sepia. Are the new red seats still hard like the sepia? I believe I read a number 7 foam vs 4 for the suede seats.

Full black leather in my '17. Seats are definitely firm. Then again, so were the saddle brown ones in my '11 Summit. Better for long trips IMHO. Had "softer' seats in my '15 & '16 Escalades...after about an hour behind the wheel, they became very uncomfortable...

I agree. At first I was like damn these are hard seats. Then later I realized I had no fatigue. Just curious, why did you have a 15 and 16 Escalade? I'm looking a new 16 Yukon XL Denali.

Wanted to get an SRT in '15 but my leg hit that shifter they used in '14 & '15. Took me outa the Jeep game so I bought the Cadillac. Total POS (transmission, electronics issues, rattles etc etc) Cadillac took it back and replaced it with a '16. The '16 had the dreaded vibration issue (google it)...Cadillac all but turned their back on it (considered normal?!?). Jeep did the right thing with the shifter and the Cadillac dealer took my '16 back...
As a result of this experience, I could not recommend any GM large SUV. They are half-baked at best. Drive the Denali with the 8-speed trans and note how poorly is shifts compared to the ZF in the Jeep...Night and day...

Was the vibration issue you are referring to the one where it makes you feel nauseated? Like having the rear windows slightly cracked going down the interstate. The Suburban we test drove made my wife feel ill after only a few minutes on the highway, I told her she was crazy and she probably just needed something to eat, but she REFUSED to buy that vehicle. Other than the awful third row seat I liked it and would have bought it.

It actually had a slight buffeting too....the LWB models are more prone to the buffeting effect. There has not been a true diagnosis of the cause...the first fix was to pull the interior apart and rebond the roof rails to the roof skin. My understanding was that it did not work.
The vibration is a shake in the car that is prevalent at all speeds. It feels as if it is resonating through the floorpan, not from any of the four corners (wheels) of the vehicle.
