Red leather in a Ferrari . . . perhaps! In the SRT, a little pretentious!

Take that back! lol... the sepia looks great in person. Regardless the use of the laguna leather is amazing!

Some people that is pro European automobile think that red leather is ok and the norm in European automobile, compare to a North American automobile.

I am taking full credit for Chrysler having red leather in the SRT, I have written in previous post many months and years ago about the viper and Chrysler 300 having red leather interior and the SRT not having it,and the SRT competition BMW X5M,6M having that beautiful bright red leather interior I think the Porsche cayenne also have red leather interior. I think this beautiful red and black interior is so universal with all the jeep exterior colors especially with Scott red jeep.

Since i have already bitch about the interior now i am going to bitch about power folded mirrors, this vehicle cost north of $50,000 therefore power folded mirrors should be standard for the money you pay for this vehicle, just like the SRT competitors.

I know Chrysler pay attention to this site and the forums for consumers feedback on their product.

Totally agree. While the red is not for me in a DD, it is pretty cool. I wish i saw the red seatbelt option before I ordered tho! I probably would have checked that option!

These are great. I would definitely go with Sepia or the Ruby Red and glad to see we have options. Not too long ago, many people complained about American cars only offering gray interiors so i wouldn't complain about any color options they have now.

Do the 17s say jeep on the steering wheel instead of SRT? If so, does anyone know why?

Ui love the white exterior with sepia. Granted I'm bias :) but I searched around a good while for that combo. Everyone finds the vechile looks very classy with this combo. Until you cold start her that is ;). Red looks ok I like the design in the seats with the lines. But I still prefer the sepia. Are the new red seats still hard like the sepia? I believe I read a number 7 foam vs 4 for the suede seats.

Full black leather in my '17. Seats are definitely firm. Then again, so were the saddle brown ones in my '11 Summit. Better for long trips IMHO. Had "softer' seats in my '15 & '16 Escalades...after about an hour behind the wheel, they became very uncomfortable...

I checked out a Granite Crystal over Dark Ruby Red 2017 SRT today in person and really liked it. The ruby red interior, much like the sepia, needs to be seen in person. Pictures, especially the poor ones most dealers take, don't do the color any justice. I also noticed a host of interior improvements over my 2014. The new shifter is very smooth and definitely doesn't leave you guessing like the recalled one. The black chrome accent strips all around add a little extra class over the plain chrome I have in mine. I thought I would miss the suede inserts but the full laguna leather seats are buttery soft and have plenty of retention. The interior plastics "silver" color has been tweaked a bit and is darker than my 2014. With the full leather interior in ruby red you also get red bordered SRT floormats.

It was also nice to see that they have done away with the white / silver stitching on the dash in favor for a dark gray color that doesn't get reflected into the windshield and drive you crazy.

The specific vehicle I looked at today lacked the rear entertainment and had the polished 5-spoke wheels on it (it needs the black spider monkeys in my opinion) otherwise I may have swapped rides. At least now I know one of the preferred color combos for my Hellcat when the order boards open next year.

I did snicker a bit when I saw the SRT badge in the lower grill on the 2017 configurator today too.

Thanks for the additional pics Milous...

I went back and looked at the Granite / Ruby Red SRT again today with my wife and the picture you posted is the closest you can get to it besides seeing it in person. Light definitely affects the hue of the red leather for sure. I also noticed that only on the Ruby Red leather package do you get dark gray stitching on the doors and dash. The white / sepia one parked next to it still had white stitching on the dash.

Just sitting in it for a few minutes I can see the increase in build quality and fit and finish over my early 2014 build.

I also appreciate the revised cluster layout and additional customization available. I geek out on that stuff.
