Tom had issues with his rear shocks. He went back to stock to have them repaired under warranty with no hassle.

I too have a problem with my right rear shock but have been running stock all along. The wire that connects to my shock came lose and rubbed against the axle... Hopefully this will not happen to others

Excuse the salt...

Yes CLS posted the correct photos of my SRT on STOCK springs. I do not know what I will be doing with suspension once it is fixed tomorrow. I might be bagging it soon. Not sure what caused the issue with my rear shock blowing out. Lots of people have the aggressive and I'm the only with an issue so I can't blame it on those even tought our jeeps are very heavy in the rear to be that low. They look the best IMO but the mid level looks great too and I'll prob go that route if I do not do bags.

Re: 22" wheels BUT not lowered

Thanks for the pictures guys, IMO they look great with the 22's and not lowered. There just seems to be too many hassles with the drop spread across this forum.

Spoke to a suspension expert in Australia yesterday who has recently lowered a 14 SRT. I told him I had just bought a 14' SRT and before I could say anymore he said dont lower it. He said with the shocks and bump stops it is just not worth it.

His opinion I suppose, and it seems a lot of guys in the US are dropping these and some are happy with it.

I will just go with the 22's and stock springs as with those photos it still looks great.

While that was true of the Gen1 srt (2006-2010) it is not the case with the 2012+ The Gen1 was not built to be lowered with the solid rear, almost 0 clearance of the bump stops stock. This jeep was engineered for suspension travel , lowering etc. Jeep did thousands of miles of extreme testing on these shocks and that includes lowering etc.

Re: 22" wheels BUT not lowered

Ok Thanks Scott. I will have another chat with him. What I might end up doing is getting the wheels and putting them on and going to see him re the drop. I can always do the drop later. Appreciate your help

I think am doing the same... I usually drop all my cars but think it looks damn good with 22's without the drop

Re: 22" wheels BUT not lowered

I think the eibachs are about perfect for me...just needs about 1/2" in the rear. They ride stock IMHO and you don't have the shocks riding so close to the stops with the eibachs
