Hey guys,

I am sorry first of all to make a new thread for this subject which I did talk to you about, but this time it is a different story.

Now I have been driving my Jeep GC Overland 2012 for 8 months and I can see some faults in it going and coming back. I am really happy with the car, they way drives and everything, but what bothers me the faults it has. which are increasing and not finding my self satisfied with the car. I am tired of all these issues, even though they are not that much, but they are annoying me and I wanna get something really stable!

I called the dealer and I told them am not really happy with everything is going on. Is there any way to fix the car or provide me replacement! The manager spoke to me and told me, we can trade in your car which you bought through leasing. we can give you the same model or you can choose SRT8 if you like or even you could have one of the Mercedes models like the ML350 2012.

I thought okay, SRT8... That sounds nice. Then I asked him what is the offer. Just trade in and I don't have to paying else?

He explained to me the following. He said we will take your Over Land 2012 for 44,000 US Dollars and then you will have left on your car as leasing 2,000 US Dollars which we will add to your leasing if you cant pay it to us in cash. Then you will have also to pay us for the insurance of the car.

I think I can afford it and pay the difference, but I don't know. I would like to get your advise from you guys.

You see SRT8 is a monster car and I like it, but at the same time I wanna know about the SRT8 does it have lots of problems like the Over Land?

Can it be a daily drive?

Can it take a hot weather like my country? 50C degree in summer?

I know it is stiff, but is it comfortable to drive when you have your friends with you and family or even when you are out on a special day with your wife?

Can it be like comfortable to drive when you want it and stiff and hard when you want it?

how are the service and parts of the car? are they very expensive compared to the over land or is it just the same price?

Let me know guys. I really need your advice about this and if everything is positive to me I'll just get the SRT8. Am sorry for the long post, but I just wanna clear up things to me.

Thanks for your time reading my post ^_^

WoW, I got no reply!
Sorry about that! Weekends can be a bit slow on the forums. Everybody's out playin in their Jeeps with their families.

I don't personally have a WK2version of the SRT but I do know folks with them. All use as a daily driver and have no issues with SFL heat. I haven't heard any complaints down here, just super happy people!:)

I got a weathertech cargo mat for the back. You will love it. Its rubber and keeps everything dry n clean. Great for lots of things. I golf a lot and since I bring a small cooler with me a lot of the time, at the end of the day the cooler leaks a little bit, no problem now that I have a mat back there to keep things in check! No sliding around and no BS.

Thanks for your replies guys ^_^

I went to the dealer today and they took my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Over Land with a good price which is leased!

They converted the papers of my Over Land and they calculated the amount have been paid so far and transfer the rest of payment to the Jeep SRT8 2012.

So, it is like my old contract info have been switched to a new contract for the new leasing. What have been paid will be covered with the SRT8 payment. That is why I don't need to pay anything at all. All am paying right now is the insurance of the SRT8 and the leasing contract will continue with the Price of SRT8 as if I'm paying for the Over Land.

I drove my friend's SRT8 2012 and I was really impressed with the way it drives better than the Over Land.

I have been driving my whole life an Infiniti G37S which I love and cant sell. I used to sport cars driving and I am 100% loving the way the SRT8 2012 drive.

I loved the overland, but to be honest it has lots of faults and they keep on coming back. The 5.7 is great, but once the gear switches fast the engine doesn't rev well if you press it. I didn't like it at all.

Am not even the kinda of a person who would go off roading...

I picked up the Bright Silver Color of the SRT8. The bank is just finishing the papers at the final stage. I will receive the car ether tomorrow evening or after tomorrow.

Thanks for your replies guys ^_^
