Re: 3 Season Tires

It's called the Parada Spec-X and it's not a high performance tire. The sidewalls are ridiculousness soft, I know, I had a set on my Overland for a week and ripped them off because they were terrible. Absolutely numb steering response and it wandered all over the road under load. This is not a tire I would ever consider putting on MY SRT8.

Parada Spec-X Performance Truck Tires | Yokohama Tire Corp.

All that's available right now outside the Pirelli's and the Yokohama are General Grabber UHP and BFG g-Force T/A. Of all these the BFG is the highest performance. The General is another possible alternative but I've never run them on anything so it's a crap shoot.

In order of performance I'm fairly confident in this pecking order:

1. Pirelli P-Zero (OEM)
2. BFG g-force
3. Pirelli Scorpion (OEM)
4. General Grabber UHP
5. Yokohama Parada Spec-X

The last 2 may be a toss up.

I rally wish Continental would make the Extreme DW and DWS in our size.

I have the Yokohamas and I like them a lot. I don't think the sidewalks are that soft. For the price of them I would definitely take them over the Pirelli all season tires.

It's quite possible that the taller, narrower version of the Parada I tried on the 20" Overland wheels was softer. Good to hear you like the wider SRT size, it gives us more options.

Re: 3 Season Tires

Has anyone tried the Pirelli Scorpion winter tires in snowy conditions? How do they handle?

Re: 3 Season Tires

3 season means JUST that....you drive it in temps below 40 and in the snow and Kiss Your Azzzzzzzzzz goodbye if a bad situation arises...but hell you knew that already. I've got the all season on mine, not because it will be driven in the winter time,or that I'm not going to be pushing it at 150mph plus thru sharp canyon curves...but because I have the option to be safe in the mountains in AUGUST or when ever I need that extra safety.
