After 3000 miles on her here's my likes and dislikes

Likes:
Power and torque. Even in auto mode the truck has very effortless passing power at part throttle.

Eco mode and 21mpg at 60mph highway driving is very impressive IMO.

Sepia leather seats are a hit with everyone who sees and sits in them

Hk system is pretty damn sweet especially for someone who was never into having a custom "system". This things cranks more than enough.

Power, launch feature, handling and braking all are ridiculous. I find the braking and handling to be as if not more impressive than the straight line performance

Dislikes(or wish list)
Why does a 73k msrp truck not have powered pull in side view mirrors so?

I wish I could separate the suspension settings from the engine a transmission setting. For example. I wish I could drive with auto mode ride quality but with sport or track like shifts and motor responsiveness. This is my biggest gripe so far

Wish we had a manual switch to open exhaust baffles somewhere. I guess when my gt Haus is installed this will be corrected.

Rides road grooves a little more than I had hoped. I guess 295's have their down side.

Mpg under even light spirited driving is below 10mpg lol. But the high freeway mpg stated above makes this a wash

Couple of squeaks sounds from b pillar area near drivers side door where it meets the roof line.

So far I give this baby an 8.7 out of 10 total satisfaction!

You can shift the transmission into Sport mode, but leave the suspension in Auto mode...just pull back on the shifter anytime while driving in Auto mode.

Really! I thought that puts you in manual mode when u pulled back. I have to try this. Any way to get her in track mode with auto suspension setting? Maybe pulled back twice haha. Thanks for the info. I will try this today.

Funny. I test drove a 2015 this morning and asked the salesman the same question and he told me it was an option. And then I went to the internet and showed him and he said sorry and that he can't believe the srt does not have power folding mirrors.

Yea my buddy's 47 thousand dollar RX 350 has it! Why doesn't the jeep that's 26 grand more?! Then again he does have over 200 less horsepower so I guess I'll keep folding them in manually with a smile

The Summit has power folding mirrors. I'm sure they could be adapted to the SRT's.

If you have a 2015, there are no exhaust valves. The exhaust is muted via active noise cancellation, which I would guess could be overridden by disconnecting the mics from the system. They are connected to the head unit.

Gotta love the forums. Tried this tonight and it worked great. Added throttle response with the softish ride quality was a joy. Much thanks sent! Jim

Aussie SRT's have power fold mirrors.

Or are you Americans talking about AUTO power fold when you lock the car?

NONE of the JGC range worldwide has that feature.

US SRT cars do NOT have power folding mirrors. So if you want to fold your mirrors then you have to manually fold them. So if you don't have power folding then they are not going to fold when you lock the car.

Yes. It's crazy. I knew the lesser models have power folding mirrors so you would think the SRT would have it. BUT NO.
