Am i missing somthing or just stupid?

HOw do you get to the fog lights to change the bulbs ? Do you have to take the whole inner fender liner out or can you get to them via the access "hole".

Thanks.

youll need to remove the first 3-4 plastic rivets from the fender liner and peel it back so you can access the fog bulbs. You need new rivets and a plastic rivet setter to put new rivets back. Most auto parts stores...like NAPA have both.

Re: Am i missing somthing or just stupid?

from FSM:
  1. Reach through the outboard opening in the front of the front wheel house splash shield to access the back of the front fog lamp.
  2. Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector from the front fog lamp bulb connector receptacle.
  3. Firmly grasp the bulb by the two latch features and squeeze them together to unlock the bulb from the back of the front fog lamp housing.
  4. Pull the bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.

Actually the srt foglight bulbs are different and have to be turned couterclockwise to be removed from the projector. I was also able to get at them by removing the three 7mm bolts at the bottom of the wheel liner and reach up to remove them without removing any rivets at all.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was pretty sure it couldn't really be done just with the access he just wanted to make sure I wasn't totally missing something. I'll just do them when I install my b woody as I'm going to have to remove the liner on the drivers side anyways.

Re: Am i missing somthing or just stupid?

What are you changing out to? I was thinking of being different and actually putting 2500K-3000k bulbs or HIDs in mine... I don't use the fogs as it is so once they really are needed I think having the yellow color will cut fog/rain/snow better
