Re: AMG Out, SRT In! NewB.

Thanks all. SRT nicely parked in the garage. Love the drive and absolutely love the sepia - highly recommend it. Have a few questions for some guidance please:

- yes, black chrome spider monkey wheels on the 2015 as an option with 3-season pirellis. Will these rims get wrecked in the north-east winters with salt etc?

- I am hoping to get lower profile summers with diff rims so didn't want to put rep winters on now. Anything one can do to limit winter damage other than just regular rinsing? Any kind of rim protector one can use?

- does one need to have the vehicle stopped before changing the setting to sport or snow, etc or can that be done while driving?

Let's see the AMG - and thanks for keeping us safe.

No need to stop or slow down the vehicle when changing settings.

I picked up my 2014 SRT in January 2014 in Owen Sound and drove it home to Kitchener with the three season pirellis ,that was a terrible drive as those tires are not rated for snow and ice. I ordered Blizzacks and extra rims the next day

Took everyone's advice (thank you!) and ordered Pirelli 295 winters on Spider reps.

Guess my new Spider rims and 3-Seasons become my summer set up instead of some bad ass 22s.

Re: AMG Out, SRT In! NewB.

I love the spiders personally! Once I pick one up i doubt I'd put putting even bigger and theoretically heavier rims on it.
