Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

I would say factory mufflers and tips probably weigh total of 40-50lbs and Mufflex tips and pipe extensions probably weigh a total of maybe 15-20lbs....so definately half the weight it is being dropped.

Might have some heavy bags on the way home.
Let us know how you go, Enforcer. Count me in for a group buy. Ill be heading to the US on Tuesday for 10 days but I'm saving space in my bag for a 1.75 litre of Patron from Costco.

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

I have not had a reply yet to my inquiry from their website. I am worried that they will be too long to go in my bag. I hope I hear from them soon.

They will definately fit in a decent size suit case. The tips as well as straight pipes are less than two foot each. Do yourself a favor and call them at (609) 890-0481 rather than waiting for an email response. They open tomorrow at 8am

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

I live 20 mins from their shop. I am flying into Orlando Florida tomorrow for a Disney cruise vacation out of cape canaveral. Wish I had room in my luggage. I would bring them for you.

Does this affect any sort of dealer warranty?

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

Mike, were you running 3.5 0-60 before the exhaust was installed? I've got the RIPP kit and have been running consistent 3.6 runs. Still have everything else stock but am thinking of exhaust options but only if it helps the overall engine breath and perform better.

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

Live in Australia and bought mine if there website about 1 1/2 weeks ago postage was $140 or something on there website, I thought it was not that bad.
Read in the news paper that Australia Post have set up there first U.S. Post office so Australians have a forwarding address from the U.S. For cheap freight.

Yes 3.5 pretty consistently without the exhaust. After the install still 3.5 consistently but did get a 3.4 but I think it is because of cooler temps outside. I don't think you are going to gain much as far as performance from any exhaust on the market. In fact some have had negative effects on performance. I just did this setup mainly for the sound difference and I also like the 5 inch chrome tips better than the factory megaphones.

You will definately be satisfied at cruising. No drone and virtually same sound as stock. You will notice the difference at start up and idle and most definately at WOT.

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

Does anyone know of anyone in these forums that has just changed the tips of an 12-14 SRT to something bigger? I'm liking my stealth look but wouldn't mind seeing all my options.
