Really happy with it, nice rumble on start up and slow acceleration. A mean loud growl when you give it a boot full, but almost silent when cruising around normally. I think it is even quieter than stock exhaust when cruising because it doesn't drone like when stock. Haven't done hwy cruise yet so will see what those rpm' sound like soon.
Not bad. Any pics? I'm doing mine on Tuesday. Existing tips for $220. That's good for around Sydney.

Have you noticed any performance changes?

I will try to work out how to post up a pic.
I had the option of using the stock tips but I like the look of the big tips filling out the cutout.

To be honest I havent noticed any performance changes, but I have been driving around with the windows down and getting up it every chance I get so I can hear it roar.
The only thing I have noticed is that it seems to not want to drop into 8 gear as quickly as before but that could just be due to the way I have been driving, or just my imagination.

I'll have to keep that in mind. Looks good with those tips. I'm keeping the originals but you never know what I'll end up with.

Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

Went and did the rear muffler delete. Sounds great around town but at highway speeds the drone is unbearable and I drive a lot of highway miles to and from work. Also, at highway speeds it doesn't want to go into 8th gear so it's not your imagination. I'll be putting some resonators tips in soon to add a bit of restriction and even out that highway drone.

Im doing mine because it drones bad due to the design of my stereo setup. I had to remove basically everything under the cargo cover. I will be sound deadening but I might as well kill the drone frequencies too

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

Finally got around to installing my tips. Quick n easy job. Really like the note coming from the Hemi and lots of people like the note. Really is a great bang for the buck and especially as I'm in Oz.

No issues with changing into 8 gear , but it has a great side effect on the 6-5 downshift. The clunk has nearly gone as it has slowed all the downshift a bit. Same speed on up shift as pre mufflex install. Tried all settings and no changes, so very happy customer

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

I just did the basic muffler delete using the old tips. Cost me $180 in the end. At first the tranny seemed confused but it 'learned' and now it hits 8th even better than before. My mileage seems to have improved as well. The sound isn't obnoxious at all and I love the grumble as you let off the gas and slow down a bit. Throttle response has improved and I can't wait to do my next Launch this week. Current best is 4.3 secs to 100kph.

Added bonus is that the growl wakes those asleep at the wheel in the fast lane a bit. I had a guy in a Ford FPV GT-F giving me the big thumbs up on my way home last week as we both revved it up in traffic. Too bad they can't hit pedestrian crossing humps too fast.

In retrospect, I'm thinking that Jeep put the rear muffler/resonators on purely to satisfy your standard customer who likes it loud...but not too loud. Neighbours and co-workers are really digging it too.

It sounds basically 'exactly' like the mufflex system. Smooth rumble under light/medium acceleration and roars at W.O.T. No ricey fart noises or Corsa style tin can rattle/rasp (which I absolutely hate!) It's deep/smooth, like a tubi exhaust on a lamborghini but a much deeper bass V-8 note. Just perfect and so cheap to do. Dropping a grand or 3 on an exhaust is insanity i.m.o.

I've had mine for about 7 months now and no issues at all. It's a beast, has a crazy loud crack to it and stock tips which allows me to go stealth.
