There's only a couple of roundy-roundy guys on here so I'll be keen to hear what you find.

FWIW, my 5.7 litre WK1 stability control only "sleeps", it's never completely off.
I found this at 75mph on hard packed sand while attempting to swing it on the lock stops, the damned thing would kick the brakes in to try and straighten it.
* Note, this only happened when I think the vehicle sense a roll over was on the cards. If I kept it under the "extreme" slip angle it seemed quick happy to slide.
It also didn't return to "on", it merely temporarily tried to "get me out of trouble". probably not a bad feature if and when you were to really get it all wrong. haha

The base WK2 ESP cannot be fully turned off, even though Sport mode shows it being off on the dash indicator light. The sand drivers complain about this on the WK2 forum. I'm still not used to ESP kicking in even during winter conditions and intentional drifts, though for most drivers it works to straighten the vehicle when she breaks loose. It sure would be nice to have the option to fully disable it but likely not gonna happen.

Boston, hopefully the SRT8 has a better option for the rounders, though perhaps Track setting means straightline?

On the WK1 when you hit the button..... it turns off 70% of the traction control leaving you 30%. On the WK2.... I was told by an engineer I talked to at LX & Beyond, the WK2 can fully be defeated and he showed me how. You have to be in TRACK mode and hold the button down for a few seconds. That will FULLY kill the traction control system. It can only be done in TRACK mode.

Hopefully there are a few tenths hidden in that trick. Both 0-60 and 1/4!
