Any differences in early build '15's?

I'm looking at a 2015 SRT and the build date says 4/15. Are there any differences or updates? Anything to look for or worry about? Just curious.

oil dip stick, brake rotors, radio updates, trans updates, engine updates, if you go to WK2jeeps.com you can look at TSBs

not really that much, the radio, trans and engine are flashes, the oil dip stick should be ab as the last #s for part #, and the rotors have small grooves on them. The SRT performance will make you forget TSBs really fast

Are the grooves in the rotors you are referring to slots? Can the others be flashed and installed prior to taking delivery?

the grooves are close to the hubs and they only replace the fronts, the flashes can be done prior to delivery and dip stick is nothing to replace, if they want a sale have them do it prior

So basically there's not any changes other than the front brake rotors.

Re: Any differences in early build '15's?

I wouldn't be concerned with not having the latest updates (though I always order mine, in part, to ensure I get a vehicle with the latest "revisions").

I'd be more concerned with "lot rot". Why has that Jeep been sitting around for 5 months? Run a carfax and have someone familiar with bodywork give it a good look over before you take delivery, even if it costs you a few bucks.

It may have been returned (in some states they can still sell it as new), or it may have suffered damage and had a repair (which typically dealers are not required to reveal). Of course, it may be just fine but don't take any chances.

I believe order banks are still open for 2015, and you should be able to get a factory order for 2% below invoice.
