So I may have missed it, but has Milous or Scott released any tidbits on the upcoming Dodge Demon? So far I have only seen speculation on HP number in 800's and that it will be a lighter and wider version of the Challenger.

sounds like the American Drag Racer (ADR) they bragged about last year and this is about the time they said the ADR would roll...street-legal AWD wide-body straight-line king of the drag strip but Hellcats will be "safe" on road-courses/"tracks" and mild DD use...ain't no way this beast will negotiate cornering well...they even said it won't be an "all-around" vehicle..."when your reputation matters, a tenth makes all the difference" or something like that...game changer for draggin' with high hp, wide body, AWD!
Scott, u obviously have an inside on things but I cannot get past the hugely wider front tires and it's stance, doesn't that scream AWD digger? Guess the front wide body could b for looks but...
Won't be long and you will be able to get a Demon powertrain like you can a Hellcat one now....fools and their money are easily separated...to our enjoyment
manual h/c driveline RUNNING ON A SKID!
this guy is just a few miles from me and I guarantee nobody has seen a salvage yard like his....http://www.clevelandpap.com/
takes the drivelines out of these, rights them, skids 'em, sells 'em....the ones in the vids came from similar wreck jobs and he shows you all the pics of where your now purring kitten came from..he appears to do some magical work...resto mod type guys buy a lot of his stuff...
Exactly my point, since it's an absolute that this is a dragger, by every single account, then the wide front only makes sense if they are power wheels. I mean all they gotta do to the hellcat motor is what Hellcat guys r already doing and pulley down and give it even more fuel and 850 crank HP is easy.....850hp, hell anything over current 707 is useless if it stays 2wd....I just drove a hellcat manual for 2 days at Bondurant and it's ridiculously overpowered as is even on drag radials, fun as 5hit, but way overpowered for 2wd, albeit on a road course and oval...850hp ish 2wd, beast will need wheelie bars.
It's not a dedicated drag car..and nobody wants to drive around a demon with skinnies in the front...that's why. We are hearing it could come with option drag skinnies for the front. Most will never see a race course. It will have the wide tires to fit the wide flares...
fair 'nuf, makes sense...I'll keep my eyes peeled for them to show up quickly in Cleveland Power and Performance's "yard"...can't wait to see it on a skid...
