I am sure you know what you are doing but...

Just be careful, those brakes are significantly larger and probably require more brake torque than the old 4 pot Brembos, they replaced.

Depending on the setup of the old single-rate, tandem diaphragm vacuum vs. the new, you may require a larger M/C to 1.) move more fluid, 2.) produce the necessary torque to operate those correctly.

You don't want to end up with a pedal that is spongy and will not firm up.

Couple of other considerations: On a non-abs car much less complicated. So the first thing to consider is bias front to rear. If the rear specs of the old system is the same as the new - should not be an issue with bias (you don't want much higher levels of braking in the front vs. rear) Should be balanced and not sure if there is a proportioning valve involved on either?

One other things is - will those 15 inch rotors work on the old WK suspension? There is a limit and 15 inch is massive for a rotor.

Do they bolt up or require adaptors?

according to what Im told...the wk2/wd uses the same mastercylinder as the wk2 SRT. Second....the wk2 SRT uses the same rear brembos as the wk1 SRT. Theres a few wk1SRT owners that have upgraded to the brembo 8 pots with larger rotors etc. All of this is somehting I will be exploring the next couple months. They may require 22" wheels to fit on a wk1 SRT? or wk2/wd platforms? yes....thye will require caliper adapters as the bolt spacings are different. 5.5" vs. 4.5 on the wk1 SRT and 6"+ on the wk2/wd.
