I can't wait to be rid of my 6+. It's so big it should have come with its own trailer.

I use the Scosche Magic mount for all my devices including a mini iPad. Even on my boat. Works amazing. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1451478007.878962.jpg

Just drove 3,000 miles with one of these: Amazon.com: TechMatte MagGrip Air Vent Magnetic Universal Car Mount Holder for Smartphones including iPhone 6, 6S, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

Works great and looks clean without a big clunky mount sticking out. Only downsize is that it does block an AC vent.

Have mounted Steelie on the dash - very inconspicuous, very secure - does not move even when traversing technical terrain. I stuck mine near the HVAC vent.

Kenu airframe is the best and lowest profile vent clip! Don't waste your time with anything else!

Re: Any of you guys use a Phone mount?

In my Magnum I had a mount that slid into the CD slot (which I never used) and used a magnet to connect my phone (small plate between the phone and cover). Loved it.

I found the Mpow vent mount (Robot Check) and really like it. Cheap, easy access, magnet mount, inconspicuous. I just set the vent to be 1/3 open and its great. Recommended to a number of people.

The Steelie (Robot Check) looks interesting but the mount on the phone is a little conspicuous. Nice engineering though - may consider upgrading to that.

Give the Mpow a shot - it's 7 bucks.

Re: Any of you guys use a Phone mount?

Picked up a vent mounted back plate and holder from Proclips, I then ran a lightning cable from the little compartment up behind the trim and into the mount where it clips in, very clean install and while it's not cheap it's well made, looks good and isn't in my line of sight but still easily accessible without looking down, etc

Here's a couple quick ones, the mount is adjustable and can be moved 90 degrees if you want a panoramic view of something, i was able to get most of the apple cable behind the trim, wish they made a OEM apple cable in black though. The vent its mounted to is still usable and the thing is rock solid so no rattles or squeaks.

I use the same one, I love it. It's not bulky as all the other ones and to me it's the most user friendly.

Anyone uses a phone mount, if so what type? I'm trying to look for a vent mount rather than a glass suction one because I hate my phone obscuring the view.
I use the panavise, it's a little more $ but a solid product, requires a few pieces

The dash mount, the tipper and the phone mount, it's pretty nice, I did have to make a wedge between the dash mount and dash to eliminate any shake but it's the best mount I've had to date. Purchased all from amazon
