Yep they sure did switch read that a month ago , and I brought 2 boxes from Amazon because they don't bloody sell that oil here in Australia ? Why they pulled out of Australia and stop selling it here is beyond me and why is the oil so hard to come buy ? Amazon have none left as you already no ,some things just don't make sense ..

Just use Mobil1. It's great stuff. There's nothing magic in the penzoil. Just a market relationship with Chrysler.

Re: Anyone having trouble finding Ultra 0w-40 ?

From day 1 on my 2 srt8 i used mobil 1 5/30 syn and never had any problems with oil consumption or anything. The 0/40 in ca is just to hard to find. On my 2014 cherokee 3.2 motor i will use up the rest of my oil left over from my 2012 srt8 and may continue to use it on the 3.2 motor. Our dealer has a thing with chrysler where you pay 60 bux for 1 oil change and get 3 free using non syn pennzoil. Ill wait and see how i run at the track to see if i want to change to non syn pennzoil.

Re: Anyone having trouble finding Ultra 0w-40 ?

as I posted before, I found Pennzoil Ultra, ultra class synthetic, Hyper, 0w-40 SRT motor oil, in a silver/grey plastic qt bottle with a silver & yellow label, it also states on the label"specially formulated for high-performance SRT engines"....It was in stock, on the oil shelves at my local "Pep Boys" auto parts stores here in Las Vegas, NV...... They have a web site, and it may be available from them on-line, don't know?....But at least it has been in their stores.....and yes it's pricy, .....I don't know what states Pep Boys has it's stores in

Re: Anyone having trouble finding Ultra 0w-40 ?

mobil 0W-40 FTW! Been putting it in my AMG mercedes since day 1 and after 90,XXX miles she still runs great with 0 engine issues. The Penzoil thing is simply a marketing ploy and a contract/relationship est between them and Chrysler, nothing more nothing less. If nothing else, putting specifically SRT on the bottle just proves it. Also allows them to charge much more for it calling it the "only" oil you are supposed to use. It's all marketing baby!
