Anyone on 295-35-21?

I think I originally posted this in the wrong forum.

I plan on going to ADV.1 wheels in 21", with 295-35-21 tires. Since they are within 0.55% of the originals, I should be fine.

Anyone running this setup?

Should be good. I think akin ran some 21s. 21s would probably be the perfect size.

No, but I'll be on 295/40/21 on spider monkey replicas when the wheels are back from the powder coaters in a week or so

35 series was a bit too small for my liking 40 series is very close to stock O.D

Re: Anyone on 295-35-21?

295-35-21 is -0.55% from original

295-40-21 is +4.0% from original

Therefore, the 35 is closer to the original.

If there's a way to recalibrate the ECU, I would much rather run 40. But, if there isn't, everything will be reliable on the 35.

Re: Anyone on 295-35-21?

You know stock size is 295/45/20 yeah?

295/45/20 is 30.43" tall (30.9" tall according to Pirelli spec sheet)

295/40/21 is 30.29" tall

295/35/21 is 29.13" tall

The percentages you quote are close, but you have it the other way around

I suggest either researching the manufactures specs or using a tyre size calculator

The only benefit the 35 will have is its a common O.E tyre size and easier to get, but much smaller in diameter than the stock tyre size and you may find it hard to get a 110 load rating in the 35 profile

The specs on that site all seem fine

Which exact tyre are you looking at?

Re: Anyone on 295-35-21?

I haven't decided yet. I'm waiting for ADV.1 to get back to me with a price on their wheels.

Getting a price from them is pulling teeth. I wonder if they're really interested in selling any wheels.

Re: Anyone on 295-35-21?

They were born! All jokes aside their marketing is so ducking stupid. "changing the wheel game" "reinvented the wheel industry" "killing the wheel game". I feel like they're a bunch of 1st graders. They're marketing towards neon clothes, beats headphone wearing social media turds. HRE is THE premier wheel company, OG keeping it classy.
