Anyone plasti dip any chrome pieces (specifically the grill rings)

Just wondering if anyone has plasti dipped any chrome pieces on your wk2. I was considering doing my grill rings with the matte black then using the plasti dip glossifier over it to give it a bit of shine since my wheels are powder coated gloss black, and the truck is also black.

Let me know how it worked out and how hard of a job it is. I know how to remove the grill rings and all so if I do the job it they will be removed from the vehicle prior to spraying.

Thanks

Ive not done it...but literally hundreds of members here have used plasti-dip. A couple have even donr their entire Jeep. The grille is super easy to remove...so if you try it and dont like it...your not out too much.

FYI-I had mine painted to match by Scotts paint here on the forums. he did a masterful job.

Thanks scott, I'm contemplating whether to do the grill rings in the regular matte black plasti dip or get the glossifier also (will have to wait a week to get that) and do that.
