thats just my 2 cents

Strong words for a product you never tried.
I thought the elitist attitude wouldn't be present in this board but im sadly mistaken.

Here is just one of hundred of reviews of the product.
This one compares 16 different brake dust repellants. Guess who won?

Re: Anyone tried these two products to clean Chrome wheels ?

As long as the product doesn't damage chrome, then all is gooooood.

Btw I got this little guy for my wheels, testing it out.

Chemical Guys (MIC_403) Gray Microfiber Wheel Wedge/Rim Detailer : Amazon.com : Automotive

Anyone used it before ? It cleans pretty well and kind of easy on the chrome. I hope it doesn't scratch it though. Will continue using it until other products suggested by peeps here arrive from amazon.

I guess that's where we differ. If my wheels are dirtyy then I know it's time to wash my car. I enjoy detailing my car. I've heads from many people that this works but to me it useless.

I use Adams deep wheel cleaner and the rim is clean. When they get dirty again. I was my car. It's not an elitist attitude. It's my opinion saying that armorall products are not my favorite. Now have you ever tried the quick sealant from Adams? Spray it on and your good to go. When dust occurs your hose them off and it's like new. No brush no scrubbing nothing. That's a good product.

@phillysrt Using Adam's deep wheel cleaner on chrome wheels just need water ? So you mean spray it on wheels and then clean it off water WITHOUT scrubbing ?!!

They sell a little lug brush to get in and around the lug nuts but mainly your spray it on a cool rim. Not right after you drove for an hour....spray the deep wheel cleaner on the rim and let it sit. Then hose off. Here is what it looks like before and after. No brush or mit. It works awesome!!!

And this does NOT damage my black vapor chrome whatsoever ?? Doesn't dull it overtime or have corrosive ingredients ?

I'd be careful with a pressure washer. Use it at too shallow of an angle with even the green tip and you can lift decals, etc. Yellow and white can loosen paint.
[I may have a reason to know this]

There is a two-pressure quick adjust wand you can get that works great for vehicles, as you don't have to stop, swap the tip, etc. all the time. It doesn't seem able to lift loose paint or decals on the higher setting.

I sure hope that the dealers are making the customers see this and not removing them.

And for those of you who have the wheels ... make sure the next guy knows when you sell the Jeep.
