Anyone tried these two products to clean Chrome wheels ?

Got Spider Monkey wheels in black vapor chrome and suffer heavily from break dust.

Did anyone try using these products to clean AND prevent brake dust ?

If not, do you guys think they're safe to use on SRT wheels ?

Mopar Brake Dust Inhibitor
Mopar Chrome Cleaner - Item # 04318013

Best remedy for dust is different pads.

Hawk Ceramic is what I have. Almost no dust.

Thank you for replying. Yeah I've been told about changing pads but I don't have that as an option. So best I can do is clean !

Yes I can, and thank you I just found out that they're available on amazon too.

But still, not sure if these can damage chrome wheels, as I have been warned about cleaners damaging chrome in the past.

Griot's Wheel Cleaner
P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner

Those are the two safest but effective wheel cleaners I've used.

You can get them both at Autogeek

Re: Anyone tried these two products to clean Chrome wheels ?

my best advice IF you don't wanna change pads(I wouldn't use ceramicIMHO) is to justuse the GOOD ole car wash soap you use to wash the paint. Then seal the wheels with a couple coats of a trusted sealant like meguiers #21 or blackfire wet diamond. All these wheel coating seem to dull the wheels to me. If you don't wanna change the pads.....this is my best advice....not wheel coatings.

Thanks for your suggestions and advice guys.

Scott : yeah I'm thinking of sticking with soap and water but also use the chrome cleaners (no coatings) mentioned above by friends, or the mopar I posted.

Re: Anyone tried these two products to clean Chrome wheels ?

A pressure washer will clean the wheels well and will not damage them. I use it on my wifes car that has a complex design that is a bitch to clean. It will also make the callipers nice and clean.
