I am staying calm because it is a fantastic car, no doubt, but come on, really, this many issues. It is just a lack of care or responsibility.
Sorry to hear that Cage. As "mrmaker", "Radknight" and others have already mentioned, don't take any of Jeep's after-sales BS. You've paid a truckload of cash for Jeep's top of the line vehicle. You're the man here.

I too am interested on the result of this as Jeep's after-sales service is going to be a big issue / concern for me when I purchase later this year.

My center console door is misalignment too, actually the cause seems to be all the pieces in the console put in wrong. It is like they did not put th together in the correct order. I have read that it I s an easy fix put you need to remove several pieces and put back together.

Have you had a play with the VR button yet, I think it works pretty well, easy to make calls and play whatever song u ask for.
Yep, I have changed my mirrors to dip on reverse. Not sure if I will leave this though as it is good for parking on the street but that is about it.

The SRT logo is there so all good,

Re: Australian SRT issues

Update,

Just went for a nice drive and the air reticulation button is now staying on so that has seemed to fix itself.

The warning for "Service Adaptive Dampering Suspension System" is now in my message screen in the EVIC.

I sent the list to my dealer and he responded straight away and cc'd the service manager to call me on Monday. Let's see how we go.

Re: Australian SRT issues

Got the S-type today. Haven't even had a chance to look at it yet I am so flat out.

Latest. I have a meeting with the Service Manager at Roseberry. He seemed like a good guy over the phone and said he will give me an hour tomorrow morning to go over all the issues and to set a plan about fixing them. Let's see how we go.

I still absolutely love this truck though. Starting to treat her a little harder now and she eats it up.

Re: Australian SRT issues

Well Murphy's Law strikes again. Got to the dealer and met the Service Manager. Went to my car to start talking through the issues and the two biggest ones (Service Warning for the suspension and the ESC staying on) were no longer there. You have to be f#$king kidding me!!!!!!!!!! They were both there on the drive over but as soon I restarted it at the dealer they vanished into thin air. The warning message was even gone from the EVIC message storage. It was like my truck was laughing at me. Anyway I showed him some photos that I took so he knew I was making it up.

Overall the experience was a good one. I can recommend George at Roseberry for his service. He actually cared about my issues and even mentioned that it was good to see I took pride in my truck, hence why some of the cosmetic issues may seem perdantic to some but to me they are not.

He found 10 errors codes which all related to a part in the steering wheel that controls alot of the functions that I have been having issues with. He cleared all these issues and it seems now that the problems have been fixed. I will montor this and if it happens again he has committed to replace the controller in the steering wheel.

Also the clip on my shock is broken. He believes that this may be causing the service warning. He has fixed this adequately at the moment but again if this comes back he has committed to changing the shock.

The cosmetic issues he is reporting for me to Chrysler and he is setting up a meeting with them and I to go over it.

So the long and short of it is that the majority of the techno issues are currently fixed and hopefully wont be back. Very happy with this right now.

Again I love my SRT.

Re: Australian SRT issues

That sounds positive Cage and I wish you all the best for trouble free motoring from now on.

Glad to read a good Service related story too; I've read far too many after-sales horror stories on here, which is something us new buyers have to be aware of.

Good luck with it all, and the SRT certainly is a beautiful machine. Enjoy

Re: Australian SRT issues

Hey Marty, It seems your SRT had a few gremlims that needed to pan themselves out. Good to see your being looked after. It's also good you have formed a relationship with the service manager, he is your ticket to decent aftersales service!

Cheers

Re: Australian SRT issues

This is getting funny now

Drive home last night and it was all good again.

Drive to the city this morning and all the issues were back again

Had my meeting, got in the truck to drive to work and it is all good again.

Can't wait to see how it is at lunch.
