Hey Milesy, got it black ceramic coated last week but it is still in my office. Been absolutely flat out for the last couple of months so hopefully in the next week or two I will get in on. You still in Sydney?

Re: Australian SRT issues

I am right now, but driving back in the morning, I was hoping to stick around for a little bit longer but gotta get back earlier now. Too many traffic cameras down here, it's ridiculous.

Re: Australian SRT issues

You can't switch the radio off you can only mute it.

I had a weird one this morning, I can't switch through the modes of the radio to get to the radio stations it only stays on iPhone.

Plus my seat memory buttons don't work anymore
Plus I can't turn off forward collision control in the EVIC. It lets me physically turn it off but it is still operational. I have to turn it off by the button under the radio.

Re: Australian SRT issues

Well since going and have my fender flares refitted as they had warped, the dealer did an update on the computer and i have not had any more problems as far adaptive suspension. Did not touch any thing else for the suspension problem and told me most problems are fixed with a hardware update. Trim on front passenger side dash lifted and has been fixed under warranty. The air con is not advisable to leave in recirculating for too long as can cause you drowsiness, previous car used to switch back to fresh air after about 20 min

Re: Australian SRT issues

here goes
Ive had my srt for 2 weeks now and as i was expecting i had a list of issues with it. all minor stuff but still annoying.

Heres the even more annoying part. 1 of the issues i had was Aircon blowing hot air at 21deg. This seems fixed but now USB & bluetooth are not recognising music. Handsfree works but the quality has has gone down the drain.

The car is going back as they had to order parts to rectify other issues but i noticed on the order form "driveshafts". Has anyone heard of these being changed due to a recall???

Re: Australian SRT issues

Well I received my car from the dealer on the 3rd of June this year and 2 weeks of owning it I told them about the drive shaft recall and they ordered me 2 new shafts , they arrived this week but now I just have to book in to get done when I get back from work in 2 weeks . Just cannot stand the transmission clunking at low speeds and the god dam rear suspension clunking and knocking over small bumps and at low speeds but get that fixed later as well

Re: Australian SRT issues

There is a bad batch of CV's and if they want to replace them, I would let them. It will only be a matter of time before they do leak.
As for the replacements, they have to do the whole assembly as it is not easy to just replace the boots. Also once they have leaked, there is no way to tell if they have worn due to the lack of lubrication.
