Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and I'm hoping to purchase within this week. Since I'm new in Australia, I figured I'd ask around and get the inside from people that have actually bought them, how much I can actually expect to pay? I'm looking for Sunroof/Harman Kardon, and black Spider Monkeys. I'm learning that "drive away price" is what I need to pay attention to since it includes stamp duty, etc. I previously owned 2 Grand Cherokees (98, and 05) but never an SRT8....I'm very much looking forward to this purchase. Many thanks in advance for any insight or recommendations.

Because of our shitty exchange rate, the price has gone up a fair bit.
With the options, I would expect a good price for a drive away would be $93-95k for one on the lot.
Dealers are advertising them for up to $107k which is a big joke.
A mate of mine got one before Christmas and he paid $95k drive away, but then he did not negotiate much. I would start at $90k and see where it goes.
Just watch out for the "Ming Mole" who will try to sell you a "protecton pack" for $2k which is a total ripoff. They hit you up after you have signed for a new car.
After you agree on a price, hit them up for front window tinting.

It is enforced to some degree, but you could have bigger problems if it is found to contribute to a crash or you hit someone. 35% is fine for me.

If your employer provides a novated lease option it is definitely worth looking into. You will find they get it at a really good price point, one thing to not the exchange rate issue has added a $6k additional cost for nothing more than what you got in 2015.

Go to Tint and Protect Tint a Car - Window Tinting - Car, Home & Office if you want any tinting/wrapping/paint protection, the team are awesome.

Happy buying, you will never stop smiling when you have a heavy right foot.

Big jump in pricing since i bought my 2014 Jeep, Paid $81K on road with spider monkeys, sunroof, stereo.
Heaven knows what a Hellcat will cost us here (IF we get it that is)
Bought mine from Waitara Jeep.
All the best with your purchase and don't be afraid to go in hard when negotiating the sale.

FYI it's since MY14 it;s just SRT, no longer SRT8.

Below prices are the vehicle price only, so excluding all taxes and delivery charges. Based on non-metallic pain and private ownership.
SRT demand still far outstrips supply, so basic economics applies there with the increase.

I wanted to thank all of you for taking the time to reply.....I finally took delivery yesterday. I was able to negotiate $88,500 drive away (including front 35% tints) for a new 2015 white roof/sound and shadow monkeys. I'm loving this vehicle at the moment just haven't had the time to sit and marvel with it yet.....hopefully next week. I was very happy with the salesman and the dealership if anyone is interested message me and I'll pass along the details. Thanks again. :D
