you have to replace the entire belly pan to get a new one...

Same thing happened me I can only think it came off when we had 6 to 8" of snow and caught a piece of ice.

it's just melted into place not bolted.

lost one last winter and lost the second half this winter. Tried to replace the pan last winter and was quoted like 450... driving without now.

I'd call around the wrecking yards nationwide and see if you can get one cheap(er). It's not a visible part on the shiny side of the vehicle...who cares if it's new as long as it's complete?
