Brakes

I had my tires rotated recently and when they were finished they mentioned I needed my front brakes replaced soon. I have about 31k on them and wondered what it will take. Are we talking pads and rotors or are we just talking pads? If I need to to pad and rotors what are the odds that the backs should be done too. Any advice is appreciated.

I think no one can judge about your car but they could share their experience only. This is because every person have his own way of driving

I did not change it yet. So, dont have experience for that.

32k is pretty good on high performance pads/rotors. Just have a look at the rotors and see if they are more than half worn. If so..mi highly suggest the brembo sport rotors from black ops auto works with hawk hps sport pads on front and stop tech on rear. Chad knows what to order for u.

Re: Brakes

Considering these cars come with very soft pads (for better brake feel) i'd be surprised if the rotors are worn that much. BUT, the rotors could also be relatively soft I suppose?

Re: Brakes

I bet the rotors are shot, especially at 32k. I went with Hawk pads and Brembo rotors. Half the price as OE and still great stopping power.
