Question Buying New (2015) SRT Soon - Have Questions ....

Hello Everyone-

I've already researched the 2015 SRT and have decided I should buy one. Only issues I know are gas mileage and hackers can hack the system and stall the vehicle? Please advise the good and the bad. I'm about to drop the cash in the next few days.

I really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Gas mileage isn't any worse than any other SUV.

Hacking thing is a moot point sensationalized by media. Have you heard the media touting how it has already been patched if you download the Uconnect update and install it? Nope.

I get the same mileage on my 14 SRT that my wife gets in her 13 overland with the hemi, maybe even slightly better in straight inner city driving.

Thank you for responding - I appreciate it. Well, they sold the black SRT today. Now I have to order another SRT from another nearby city if I want one. I'm looking at white or grey. Which is the better color? White vs grey? I like to be low key. Any other advice or tips about the SRT appreciated.

Thanks.

Neither better than the other, it's your Jeep, what color you like better? Personally, I'd go the graphite. You can trip over black and white ones. I was between white or graphite (determined I didn't want black) until I saw the billet silver. So, billet silver is what I went with.

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.

Re: Buying New (2015) SRT Soon - Have Questions ....

I've had Billet Silver and Bright White now (had no choice on the white because they don't make Billet Silver with the Red Vapor package which I wanted my second time around).

Given a choice, Billet Silver every time. I like the white but it shows imperfections like crazy and it's pretty annoying. The Billet was really nice but the metallic can show issues with the paint as well. Just make sure you look it over really carefully for flaws if that bothers you, there will almost certainly be some (both of mine had several)...but if you can live with them no big deal.

That's why both of my SRT's were Billet Silver. 👍🏻💪🏻 White is a close second.

Is graphite or billet silver - grey?

Best color ... ? I don't like attention ....

1. White
2. Black
3. Grey

My only options, .... And the salesman recommends grey or white.

Thanks

Redline has been proven to be more aerodynamic and gets better radio reception

White is easy to keep clean, black is not....
