Bwoody CAI?

If you purchase the BWoody 4" TRUE Ram air CAI with their washer harness kit are you able to use the washer sprayers as OEM (separate sprays for front and rear)? I bought this same CAI for my 2012 and it came with a one motor pump that sprayed on the windshield and rear window at all times.

I liked the CAI system a lot but the washer pump thing really left a bad taste in my mouth, can anyone confirm they corrected this if you add the option to buy their tank and harness?

Also I bought a Fastman oversize TB 87mm I think, will I need a larger coupler for this system when installing the BWoody CAI setup?

Also will my headlamp washers still work?

I called over to BWoody and a lady told me the new kit would function like OEM but can anyone confirm this?

Re: Bwoody CAI?

the spray is very weak....not sure about the headlight sprayers. We need someone to build us a tank that the oem washer pump will mount to.

Re: Bwoody CAI?

I reused my oem pump and works like stock. The original one from bwoody is a joke. Not sure on the revised version.

Re: Bwoody CAI?

This is what the dealership rigged up for me using the Bwoody tank and an OEM pump. Works great!

Re: Bwoody CAI?

A-Kon, so it works like OEM? Are you using the pump that came with the Bwoody setup too or just the OEM pump?

Re: Bwoody CAI?

Yes it works like OEM. I'm using the bwoody tank, their pump was removed, and then the factory pump was rigged up as such. I had the orginal bwoody setup for a while but couldn't take it. I had the dealer rig this up while they were working on other stuff. They used the bwoody harness for the low fluid sensor and then extended the wiring for the factory pump. It looks and works great.
