It's definitely a personal taste thing. When I was younger, I also liked chrome accents but my last two cars, they bothered me for some reason and spent considerable time and money removing any trace of the stuff.

I think I got sick of it seeing the overly chromed trim cars more prevalent over the last 10-15 years with the higher trim packages. Chrome wheels being the most offensive to my aesthetic, which just lead me down the path to the dark side. Let's not even talk about the Escalade!

My window trim is going to the powder coater this weekend as the final piece on my SRT. I can't freaking wait!

Yeah true, it's all about taste ... Where do you powder coat such trims here? Why not use 3M vinyls so you can remove them in the future etc ?

I am foiling my roof, rear spoiler, and side mirrors, but have bad experience wrapping trim out here. Doesn't adhere right to the chrome, or at least, didn't on my 545 so ended up buying oem shadowline. It looked like butt like two months in. Not going to take the chance.

I take my SUV's to AAA, they do a pretty good job and don't rob ya. Saluki is also good for mechanical stuff. They are installing my road magnet mids and painting the trim this weekend. Following weekend for the foil from foilacar.

Good couple of weeks!

Dude! I was looking for a good mechanical shop for ages here, everyone gives me mixed reports. I'll PM you with info, seems like you know what you're doing!
