A billet metallic SRT with red vapor badges on back (SRT and Jeep logo)

Want to see how it looks with the billet color.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks silver 2012. I like the look. Do you like the black badges now that you've replaced them from the factory chrome ones? Any "regrets"? Going to put mine on this week..

Thanks. I just got her tonight and parked now. This weekend I will start on the badges before 3M clear bra on front is put on.

Congrats. I changed some of the badges on my '14 billet to black, then ended up removing most of them for a cleaner look. The only one I left was the rear Jeep in black letters with the plastic adhesive backing painted OEM billet silver. It wasn't the easiest thing (for me) to do but it really makes the Jeep letters pop.

Thanks very much. Btw, what method did you use for removing the badges, and any thing to do specifically for the lift gate jeep logo that's different from the others?

For the regular emblems I used a heat gun, fishing line, and a label/sticker spray remover from the local auto parts store (some people use a hair dryer and dental floss). My rear logo was really on there and needed some gentle prying with a plastic pry tool (be careful).

After I added the silver reflective SRT insert sticker and license plate frame I felt like I had more "SRT" on the rear than I wanted so I removed the small emblem from the lift gate.

Send some picks of the clear bra if you have it done. My wrap guy keeps telling me I should have it.

I'll post pics of the clear bra this week. Getting it done in the AM. Going with xpel. It's $699 for the front and side mirrors.

Paid a small fortune for a carbon fiber lisence Plate. Just put that on today. Going to debadge front emblem tonight.

Goo gone OK to use on the srts paint?

Ps I bought the black reflective srt sticker. Haven't decided if I'll put it on or not...

Thanks again.

Holt7153,

Loving it so far. Here are my pics of the clear bra, aka ppf (paint protection film). I went with Xpel Ultimate. They are all basically the same. I notice with the film though, that with polarized sunglasses, you see darkish blotches. I heard it's normal and goes away after time, but maybe somebody can chime in, especially with a silver like paint and lots of curves in hood. No polarized glasses on or regular sunglasses, it looks PERFECT as you can see from the pics :)

It's definitely a personal taste thing. When I was younger, I also liked chrome accents but my last two cars, they bothered me for some reason and spent considerable time and money removing any trace of the stuff.

I think I got sick of it seeing the overly chromed trim cars more prevalent over the last 10-15 years with the higher trim packages. Chrome wheels being the most offensive to my aesthetic, which just lead me down the path to the dark side. Let's not even talk about the Escalade!

My window trim is going to the powder coater this weekend as the final piece on my SRT. I can't freaking wait!
