Both Land Rover , and to a lesser degree Porsche, have managed to create an SUV that is capable in both arenas. So it can be done.
Jeep just decided to not go that route with the WK/WK2 SRTs. If they wanted to, I'm sure Jeep could merge the abilities of an SRT and an Overland into one vehicle (something called an SRTrail perhaps
Besides its time for jeep haters to go elsewhere :-)
I agree that Jeep haters shouldn't bother posting on Jeep specific forums unless that have something to actually contribute.
HOWEVER, I don't
think that everyone who criticizes or even complains about what they feel are aspects lacking in a Jeep product should automatically be considered a "Jeep Hater
". Not everyone is a "fanboy" of only one product. Some folks have a more open mind and are willing to accept that there could be room for improvement with ANY
vehicle currently produced.
BTW, to the OP...
While I doubt the SRT could do what's shown in that video, I'm pretty sure many of the regular WK2 in this forum could!
