Re: Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers

Yep made overseas clips broke fitment issues 100+ sets made and only 10 shipped with that said not a quality I'm comfortable selling.
These are made in the USA quality night and day!
Don't get stuck on cover part seems that's something you can't get passed and honestly never heard 1 complaint from my 05-10 guys in 7 years and they are done with a cheaper process a lot cheaper process.
Not to mention the replacements I sold before got returned by almost everyone but Scott because they where too hard to install since we had to use screws because u can't make composite clips that will last a lifetime without breaking.
A full replcement with metal clips would be 1k easy.

My red cf covers were awesome and i would have them on my 2014 today if the red cf was a lighter red like my redline srt. They looked perfect with my 2013 deep cherry red srt

I was actually on a cell reading and replying to you.

The answer was yes as explained ^ on the replacements covers we gave up on.

As for the other part of your question I totally missed.

We never did a cover because we have never been comfortable with a hand laid part from the MFG's we work with since thickness is a concern. The price I gave today takes that concern out of the equation with an OEM MFG honestly if you walk up to these you will be hard pressed to even know they are covers they are just that high of a quality part!

So in short we have never done a 2012+ cover NO.

VERY GOOD QUESTION!!!

Something I should have mentioned because of the MFG process we may be able to offer a Dry Carbo which appears to be more of a matte grey.

So Shiny Gray not so much but Dry Matte yes!

All the same price!

Really! And how would you know that?

I've been buying and installing C/F parts on my various motorcycles, sports cars, and marine toys for well over twenty five years. Probably well before you knew what C/F was. It's been my experience that most "stick on" C/F is cheap, thin and not anywhere near OEM parts quality with poor structural integrity/durability. That doesn't mean however that these proposed C/F mirror covers will be the same, I'll reserve judgment until I can actually see and touch a finished product.

Thanks for your inaccurate clueless comment though, it seems there is a self anointed internet expert, to be placed on the pay no mind list, borne every day.
