I haven't had any squeaking as of yet with my Hawk ceramics. If I do then I'll go with the HPS. Pads are not that expensive to replace. No way in hell would I go back to the stockers, enjoying minimal brake dust.

I couldn't get my pads to squeak at all. Slow stops, aggressive stops, nothing. I wonder if the rotors have something to do with it, because I replaced mine with the drilled Brembos.

Re: Ceramic pads for 2014 SRT

I've got the Hawk ceramics on my 2014. IMO the stop great for my driving, especially in heavy stop and go traffic. They do squeal from time to time when really hot and at certain stopping speeds. But I will take some moderate squeaking anyday over the brake dust headache the oem pads were causing me. There is brake dust from the ceramic pads but hardly noticeable and its more of a light brown color. For example, just drove from LI New York to Roanoke, VA, about a 9 hour drive. Wheels still looked good when I got here. If I had the OEM pads, the wheels would have been disgusting! By the way, down here to go to the VIR next Tuesday for my SRT track day, wish me luck!!

I have read many positive comments about how good Hawk pads are.

Re: Ceramic pads for 2014 SRT

That's it!! They are worse than ever. Ordered up OEM pads today. Hopefully by this weekend I'll be noise free. What a waste of time and $$. The kicker is that I sold my pads after the first week of no squeeking. Then it came with a vengance! No thanks to either Hawk or Maryland speed.

That could be the solution. Only my front right pad squeals terribly. Everyone is always looking at me at stop lights figuring out if that is really coming from my bad ass truck. I don't want to have the stock brake dust but I also can't go forever with this damn loud squeaking. I plan to get those rotors in a month or two.

I would never put ceramics on a jeep srt. I put them on my 2006 and they squealed like pigs....lol. I have the hawk hps sports....semi metallics on the front and the stoptech metallics on the rear.

I got the same ones and my front squeals terribly. I don't know what the deal is.

Re: Ceramic pads for 2014 SRT

I have yet to have the ceramic Hawks installed, but reading all these post, I may not. I spoke to the dealership as well as Hawk and they both highly recommend that I have the rotors cuts. I am hesitant to have brand new rotos cuts. Any thoughts?? Do you think having the rotors resurfaced would help with squeaks?
Thanks
