On the washers:
They should be replaced with the Anco wet arms on Amazon Chrysler PN:
Amazon.com: Anco 4813 Chrysler Wet Arm Adapter - 13": Automotive
Been refering these for 7 years and our MFG has been refering them for 10 years all in all never get a call or complaint about them IMO they make for a cleaner look anyway.
I have a long post here about drilling holes in FG/CF hoods.
Real quick unless they weigh a ton and are 1/2" thick like 99.99% Chinese/Mexio's Hoods (Our Compitition hoods) they will form stress cracks around them over time so we do NOT suggest drilling for them EVER!!!
Our hoods start Carbon Fiber and Finish CF and are very thin but strong!!
We do not laminate any Fiberglass hoods with Carbon fiber I will not throw anyone under the bus publically but lets just say their are multiple 05-10 fiberglass Jeep hoods Laminated LOL so People need to use Caution not all Carbon is created Equal.
