Info@Blackopsautoworks

Let me take some shipping confusion out and try to address all international shipping quotes in one general post.

UAE sees 700-900 freight
Aussy sees about the same ^
Canada 240-280

All hoods are considered freight we do not use UPS or Fed Ex they are just crazy high priced 1,000+++ just for shipping with them. Please don't ask me to quote with them as it's waste of time trust me I've been doing this a long time LOL. Even if you get a discount with your company it don'tt work trust me been their done that it don't work even with the biggest corporate discounts.

The hood boxes are large 72x68x8 and once packed they weigh 55 pounds. Their is no real cheap way they get us dimensionally not by weight the dimensions in a shipping calculator estimate these boxes at 200+ pounds so this is the reason for the high prices.

I quote with 3-4 different companies I found over the past 7 years and use the best quote possible. We do not sell shipping and in fact if a quote comes in at 748 I typically round down to 725.00 in order to get the sale I NEVER MARK UP.

We sell parts and have no interest in selling shipping or making money on shipping I can guarantee you are not being priced gouged on shipping we have to keep guys employed and need work making parts not money from shipping.

A container by sea to any region would be the best bet honestly probably 2500 for 10 hoods+ anything else that fits I'm sure their is someone in every country to organize this for a certain group looking for parts to be shipped out.

It might not be a bad idea to send a private message to all the guys/gals that expressed interest. If they are like me, they missed the post instructing it was time to pay up. :)

Thanks Bro'

Chad I'm still locked in both good and sitter no matter what the shipping arrangement to Australia. I'm just waiting as long as possible before I pay as our dollar is the worst it's been for years! If you would like me to send a deposit to secure them let me know. More than happy to do so. Cheers

Your good wait as long as you need this is a 100% a go no turning back now we got our numbers so no need to contemplate a list really if you order no matter what a hood will get delivered.

Since I waited so long to collect cash I'm a little bit ahead of the game unless something goes wrong LOL fingers crossed everything comes out of mold perfectly the first time ;)

You take the hinge bolts off along with the piston and the front catch and bolt it on our hood that's all.

does the washer fluid still work with the aftermarket hood?
Yes they just need to get relocated to the wiper arms or you will have to drill the hood we do not drill hoods because they will crack over time so we don't recommend drilling and would stick with the wiper option.

I mounted some squirters on the underside just using very small self tapping screws and small plastic brackets to hold the oem hose to the hood.

Mold is almost done.

As soon as it is completed a part will be pulled then it is fitted. If their are NO ISSUES production starts of the first orders 1 per week then ramped up to possibly two per week after the first 5 or 6 are done.

Be sure I will post here as soon as it is finished to show everyone the fitment and let you all know it's begun:thumbsup:

Scott, that is a beautiful ride. Is that the fiberglass version of the hood? I assume that's the only way to achieve the two tone red and black?

Thank u sir. No sir...its the carbon fiber extra strength version. Probably only one in world. My shop just added the house of colors black candy clear. Then taped off and painted red. Then 6-8 coats of clear to level everything out. So its actually 2 tone red and cf.
