Anyone have close up shots of the BB. I've seen a lot of Black SRT8s on the road but never knew the later to have "sparkles."

Didn't think the correct spelling of that word would be accepted by the forum. And it's spelling, not grammar.

spelling is a subset under the overarching use of proper grammar: "Grammar is the set of structural rules that govern the composition of clauses, phrases, and words in any given natural language"

BTW, Where's the darn "Deep Molten Cherry Crystal Lava Strawberry Stop-sign Blood Apple .....Red Pearl Coat Metallic!!

That last color description sounds reallllyyyy juicy! If they offered that, I'd buy it just for the name itself, Im sure it would be the hottest color too

Re: Color Change of Black

BuckeyeR/T what exactly did you do?

Can someone post a definitive difference between Brilliant Black and Straight Blue or whatever the other option was/no longer is? I'm new to the WK platform (own an LX SRT8 now) and these blacks are all gr33k to me... I used to own a car in Flamenco Black Pearl (NH-592P) and I REEEAAALLY liked it if I remember correctly.. I could see red and blue and a few green speckles in it, but the black was deep black, not grayish black..

Re: Color Change of Black

I saved the following links from a forum I ran across a while back. I can't find the forum thread of where I found these pictures. But these pics are from a guy who does paint work. He said there are three different variations of the brilliant black and unfortunately I don't remember how he described each variation. It had to do with color variations and also a finer "fleck" on one. He also mentioned he preferred black clear coat.

Here are the 3 different brilliant blacks.

Here are his pictures of comparing brilliant black to black clear coat.

And this next one looks to be just the brilliant black and you can see how it looks different from itself based on sun and shade:

Re: Color Change of Black

Found the thread comparing about the brilliant black and black clear coat that I referred to in my previous post.

Here it is and it has very good information in it:

Re: Color Change of Black

Just my opinion....If you really don't want to take care of your paint which means spend some time on it, go with the brilliant black because it hides a bunch of crap. If you want to spend some time on your paint just black is the way to go as it is just a clear black that looks so much better than something that was primarily intended for people that liked black but didn't want to take care of it.
