I didn't think it would come to this, but as of this morning I've officially ended my wait for the 2014 WK2 by pulling the trigger on a new 2012 C63 AMG.
I'm really going to miss being a part of the SRT family, and I'm definitely not ruling out a potential trade-in/swap when the 2014 WK2 does finally roll out. But with that being said, I truly wonder whether the ever-increasing price of the WK2 SRT8 is going to come back to haunt Jeep.
The fact that Milous has already confirmed a $1000+ increase for 2013 models made me nervous about how much a 2014 WK2 would cost, considering the fact that it'll come with several substantial upgrades (8 speed, new, larger nav, led tails, etc.). After negotiating my price on the AMG down to just over $65,000, I began to feel for the first time ever that the Jeep may just not be worth it for me right now.
Regardless, I'll continue to stalk the forums and wish you all the best of luck with your beast rigs. I'll paste some info of my new purchase below, pics may also come as well after I get her tinted and if anyone cares.
