Custom Exhaust in IL

To all my fellow brothers in IL, the time has come to get my Borla S Cat Back installed and would like to know if anyone knows of a reputable custom exhaust shop. Plan on getting rid of the two small resos that come with the system and putting stainless straight pipe in. I know there's plenty of shops around but want the install done right. So if anyone can recommend a shop, I would appreciate it very much. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1468372526.287245.jpg

If you are going to do that, you should have went with the ATAK because that's the sound you are trying to get by cutting the small resos.

I have the catback ATAK. I love it.

Didn't want the ATAK because of the raspiness at WOT. Wanted more of a deeper sound.

Cutting out the reso will make it raspier. If that's what your wanting to avoid then just leave em on

Maybe on the ATAK but not on the S Type. I'm looking for the deepest sound I can get out of the S Type mufflers without doing headers, etc. Deleting the resos and replacing with stainless straight pipe will accomplish this. I'm not deleting the mufflers, just the two small resos after the cats.

If you say so. I've put together quiet a few systems over the last few years. In just about every instance removing the resonators resulted in a raspier sound. Doesn't matter what catback you put on, removing the resonators will make it raspy. Just sayin

Maybe so, but I've had quite a few systems in the past and I've always done this and achieved the sound I wanted. Besides if I don't like it I could always put them back on. Appreciate the info.

Why don't you post some videos of your SR.... Oh that's right you have a V6. Post some pics of the systems you installed too while you're at it. I would love to see the vids of that V6 roar lol. Stop lurking on the SRT forum. The WK forum needs more people lol. If you're not in IL, I don't need your so called advice or opinion.

Actually since you wanna play that game I do have tons of vids up on my build thread. And I have built multiple systems but since you seem to think I don't know what I'm talking about, have fun with your raspy exhaust.

Why don't you go yell at robert too while your at it since he told you the same thing I did.

One more thing while I'm at it. My knowledge of exhaust systems extends far beyond the wk. There's a reason people ask me this stuff. Ask anyone over there. But no, you think your better then me because you drive an srt. Get off your high horse cuz that attitude is gonna get you booted
