The Jeep will definitely be my Daily Driver... For the few times it may snow in NC or snowboarding trips to the mountains, will the All Seasons be ok?

DD here in Texas, about 30k miles a year. The SRT keeps me from having to garage another car to satisfy the need for speed and still being able to tow. If towing plus fitting 3 car seats weren't factors, you can bet I'd be driving something else.

Buy $60k+ Jeep with 4WD..........park it in winter because it might get dirty and want to save a couple hundred dollars on insurance.....

So with that mentality, should we all take them off roading as well? I mean it is Jeep right? Let me know how that first steep incline works out for ya.

Probably the same as any other so long as I have ground clearance and it's in 1st gear and Tow setting.

This is a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a bigger motor, sporty suspension, and better brakes, basically. It's not my 662hp Shelby (which I can't even drive below 45 deg. due to tires), a Ferrari 458, or Lambo Aventador.

Here's something to shock you with..........my wife drives her 2010 in the winter as a DD too and it's much more rear end happy than the WK2 (EDIT: that rhymed. I'm a poet...and didn't even know it!)

I pick up my SRT on Friday. My 2012 Overland was my daily driver here in the Greater Toronto Area. We do get miserable winter weather. Jeeps are great in the winter and I need a capable car to get around for work. Why would I park it for winter? I'm not protecting it for someone else after I eventually trade it in.

In 2006, there wasn't a lot of choice for wheels or tires for the Charger SRT8. The WK2 SRT has virtually NO Off Road ability.

It was designed to handle great on paved roads & smooth tracks. There are other WK2s that are designed for Off Road use (Overland, Laredo, & even the Summit).

The SRT might have the power, but it lacks the ground clearance. In fact, I'd rate its Off Road ability about the same as any other powerful car (Mustang GT, Porsche 911, Chevy Camaro).
