By the way, I love the new 300. Makes me want to trade in my 2007 300 but it's been a really good car.

Re: Deep Cherry red or Mineral Grey Jeep SRT8?

Yeah the cherry is FUGLY! The old RedRock and Inferno were way better. That said, the mineral gray is sweet! Imagine that with a nice set of black wheels w/ chrome lip and some other visual mods! SEX!!!

What's baffling is that you can currently order any other 2012 Grand Cherokee in Deep Cherry Red, except for the SRT model.

Even once Red becomes available, the limit of color choices on the Jeep SRT is baffling, and always has been. These vehicles should be available in a minimum of 5-6 colors. On some of the other Chrysler co. vehicles all colors are available on all trim lines.

Currently, the 2012 Charger SRT8 can be ordered in 5 different colors, the 2012 Challenger SRT8 in six colors, and the Chrysler 300C SRT8 in 5 colors. And more colors are on the way for all 3 of those vehicles. The Jeep is the ONLY 2012 SRT8 model to use Brilliant Black, all other models are available in Gloss Black (aka "Pitch Black" or "Black Clear Coat").

Hopefully Ralphie G will change that!

This almost feels like a mistake. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Re: Deep Cherry red or Mineral Grey Jeep SRT8?

Honestly that deep cherry color did not wow me when I saw it in person. I'm not a fan of darker reds.

So my vote would be Silver or Gray.

Re: Deep Cherry red or Mineral Grey Jeep SRT8?

I would have to actually see a Jeep in person, in the red to decide if I liked it or not. Picts never do justice to a color, and picts of it on a 300 really do nothing for how an SRT Jeep will look. The mineral grey is a nice color, so nice that half the Jeeps I see around here are that color.LOL!

That's interesting because I'm in East Central Florida and I've never seen another Mineral Gray on the road and when I do a search within 200 miles there are 68 out of 1064 or ~ 6% on the dealer's lots in Mineral Gray. The most popular color is Brilliant Black @ 205 or ~19% Followed by White @ 16% and Silver @ 14%. I'm just sayin'
