Delivered!

Finally took delivery today of my white 2014 SRT.

Biggest mistake I have made easily in the last ten years was selling my black 2014 SRT and then getting a Rubicon for my wife, then modding it. I had plans on getting a GT-R or R8 in the summer but bottom line, we both missed the SRT far too much.

So our ride came in Dec 1 area but we had to wait for the winter tires/wheels to arrive. The came in today, so we took delivery today.

So unreal getting back in this after not having it since August.

Delivered! <-- more pix

Already did my first mod.. removing the side badges.

Attempted doing the SRT keyfob SRT badge switch (from tchrist30) but hell if I could get the jeep one off the keyfob. I tried the small screw driver for a set of glasses, all I ended up doing is scratching the shit out of the jeep badge on the fob.

Re: Delivered!

Awesome ride. Love the black rims.

For the decals/emblems try a bit of heat or cold and slowly work it with fishing line. I heard that is the best method. I'll find out soon enough.

Congrats on the reclaim.

Thanks man.. I don't mean emblems on the Jeep itself.. I mean the Jeep decal on the keyfob, like SRTWIL did successfully..

What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

SRTWIL's keys

I just need to find something to get under the decal is all.

I used a small flat head screwdriver in the corner of the jeep emblem and was able to pop it up a little then just continued to pry it up along the edges. A little heat may help as well. Mine came off pretty easily.

Re: Delivered!

Good to see you back in an SRT. I used a utility razor blade to get under the Jeep emblem... just slid it under the corner and pried up the corner and it popped right out.

Well, the scraped one can always go to the wife

Although I think a dozen roses and a vacation in the Jeep might be warranted for the situation and buying another SRT. I think mine would have my head if we went through the same thing!

Re: Delivered!

Just saw this thread. You made the right choice, I know I'll get flamed for this but GTRs are gay! I've never met a more obnoxious bunch of fanboys. If I hear "Godzilla" again I think I may puke. A few acquaintances have them, some heavily modded. The owners are turdz.

Re: Delivered!

We have one- heavily modded. Definitely not gay But it's true that a lot of GTR owners make their cars look bad. Can't hang out with them for that reason. SRT owners definitely the coolest.
