Re: Does anyone wish that the SRT would be more special?

from an outsider and someone who hasn't owned a JGC yet.... the SRT looks pretty special to me. I can spot them pretty easily. They have simple nuances that stick out so they look different than the regular JGC.

Re: Does anyone wish that the SRT would be more special?

as a first gen owner I'm glad the direction they are moving with the second. The newer headlights, few other tweeks keep setting it more apart like it should be. I do think though that the 14's new front end its going to be harder to tell them apart, even the laredos and such have that nice front and IMO look amazing.

Re: Does anyone wish that the SRT would be more special?

I love that our SRT's aren't too flashy, they will get ignored as not being baller type vehicles and as such, nobody pays them any mind. That's their mistake.

Limited numbers mean you won't see another very often. In Canada they're far more rare than in the States so that's great. The 1% that pulls up and knows what it is, a tip of the hat - respect etc. The other 99% think meh - just a jeep.

I do with the Overland/Summit looked more different. In my opinion it's too much like the SRT now in the front. Then again, that makes the SRT even more of a sleeper, so perhaps not so bad after all.

If you were driving a Mercedes or Audi, Porsche etc - anyone want to compare repair bills when that's needed?

Thumbs up Re: Does anyone wish that the SRT would be more special?

Well what would make it special is to put the exhaust in the middle like the old srt, to me the rear is not to special looking at all, from the front I can tell it looks special with LEDs. I do see what you are talking about a soccer mom or joe nobody will not see a differents in there grand Cherokee or your 60k SRT.

Re: Does anyone wish that the SRT would be more special?

I'm glad the exhaust isn't in the middle, personally. I want to be able to tow my boat or trailer, jet skis etc. 7200 lbs towing capacity means happy happy joy joy

It is a personal thing! Although it is practicle to be able to tow things if you want, the exhuste in the middle is way better looking and more aggressive. As I said before, I wish it was available even as an extra option

The option would have been nice.

Re: Does anyone wish that the SRT would be more special?

The SRT looks different from many perspectives when compared to other JGC's running around. It's amusing when you see people doing double takes trying to figure out what it is. They know its a jeep, but also know its something different. I have noticed the BMW and Land Rover SUV drivers doing double and triple takes on more than one occasion, so the SRT does have a look that grabs folks attention.
